Montana native Chas Elliott began his training in music and theatre arts in Helena. He has been involved in many productions at both Grandstreet and Carroll College theatres and served as a music leader for several area churches prior to relocating to NYC. As a classically trained bass, Chas made his Avery Fisher Hall debut in 2007 and his Carnegie Hall debut in 2008.
In 2011 Chas was appointed director of music for the Anglican church is Berlin, Germany. He founded Amici Arts in 2015 and presented three seasons of American music to audiences throughout Europe and the UK. Chas returned to Helena in the autumn of 2019 and began building his studio for local singers and actors and is rebranding Amici Arts as Music Theatre Project (North America), and MTP Academy.
In late 2019 he produced his latest successful charity concert featuring local performers, raising over $2000 for NAMI Helena and the Willis Cruise House.
